About Me
Hello! I'm Coach Dayna!
I'm here to help you, as a medical professional, navigate the intricate world of English communication. With over 3 years of experience teaching English, I've developed a keen interest in making sure that doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff can express themselves clearly and effectively.
A Bit About My Background
Growing up in Eastern Canda I was always intrigued by languages and how they shape our interactions. After earning a degree in Bachelor of Arts from Cape Breton University, I began working in HomeCare. It didn’t take long for me to see the language gaps and communication barriers between the clients I help and other Home Care professionals when English wasn't the first language. I knew after years of experiencing this that I wanted to help people with their English skills.
Why Medical English?
I've choosen to work with Medical Professionals not only because of my medical past in Home Care, but my son is always in the eyes of medical professionals. My husband and I would be lost without their support. This is my 'thank you' in away to helping other medical professionals.
How I Teach
My teaching style is all about flexibility and real-world application. Whether through personalized one-on-one sessions, dynamic group workshops, or interactive online courses, I focus on the practical aspects of language use in medical settings. We'll tackle everything from everyday patient conversations to complex medical presentations, ensuring that you're ready for whatever your career throws at you.
